Types of Heaters Explained

Industrial heaters

Industrial heaters are commonly used to heat large commercial spaces like building sites and warehouses, particularly during the winter months.

Electric convector heaters

Electric convector heaters warm the air via an internal electric element. They heat up quite quickly and disperse heat efficiently, making them super handy for providing heat in spaces without traditional heating.

Fan heaters

Fan heaters disperse warmth via an internal fan. The heat is generated by air passing over a heated metal coil. These fans can be static or portable and some will also come with a cold air option.

Infrared heaters

Infrared heaters use infrared light to heat things directly in front of them. Infrared light isn't visible to the human eye but it gets absorbed by our skin and other objects which is how we feel warmth from them. These heaters can be powered by propane, natural gas or electricity.
